Thanks to firemen

One of the projects of the Quononoquott Garden Club is maintaining the memorial garden in front of the firehouse museum on Narragansett Avenue. A lot of women have contributed their skills, time and energy over the years to maintain this lovely garden.

But last month, a few of Jamestown’s finest came to our rescue and lent a huge helping hand so we could get this lovely garden in shape for next spring. We would like to thank Fire Chief James Bryer for sending us three talented and knowledgeable volunteer firemen to help out. So a special thanks to Bucky Caswell, Geoff Regan and Findlay Mulligan. We really could not have accomplished so much without their help and backbreaking labor. It was truly a pleasure working with them and getting to know them at the same time.
